paid my tuition today. once again, i've managed to put off paying until the final due date. and yeah, i registered late, too.

went down to borders and got some new books. i picked up a copy of the quran, and also marx's "capital." i've always been interested in reading the quran, and now i finally got myself a copy of it.

i've also picked up the 86 list's new album at cheapos. i like it for the most part, but the vocals sound a bit funky on some of the songs.

anyway, i got the whole album up on my ftp server:

and so was the winter break.

no, not really.

school is starting tomorrow. i've maxed out my credit limit... i've picked up nineteen hours this semester.

picked some interesting courses this semester. one computer with lab, three writing intensive, and two liberal art courses.

after this semester is over, i've only got core courses left to take, so hopefully i'll be able to graduate within a year... then off to graduate school, maybe.

my schedule for the next 5 months:

went down to aloha tower to check out the fireworks last night. but because of the lack of open parking spaces, we—john, johnny, jon, eric, trish, macey, janelle, and myself—ended up going to the slightly less crowded kakaako beach park instead. we had a nice little non-alcoholic toast, and then we killed time by playing with some fireworks. earlier that evening, we got kicked out of ala moana beach park by the cops because, apparently, we were not allowed to use fireworks in public areas—including public parks. that was the second new year where we were stopped by the police. and once again, our attempts of politeness weren't receprocated.
