did u know that college life isnt what its all cracked up to be? i mean i knew there was air conditioning in my college (hunter college) but i didnt think theyd have the air on so low, in other words, its freezing like a crazy mofo! it would be like 58 degrees outside and the heat wouldnt be on in the school, the dam air conditioning would be! but... i do have a job now.. 5.75 an hour.. woot woot, im making big bucks now! so how have u been? i see u still read calvin and hobbes (good man) and that you rarely update.. nothing has changed, lol. im just kidding around. by the way i have a question to ask... cows eat a lot of grains and wheat and grass and all that other vegetable stuff and i know they pass lots and lots of gas, soo does that mean vegans pass gas too? i mean, more so then ppl who eat meat?.. just asking since my geography prof brings it up and all.. yeah..... u know im getting married?? im only 17.. but in like a couple of years i'll be a mrs. lol. so wish me luck! -cathy

hey mark thanks for the mail. i guess i'll use geocities since i already have an account with them... by the way did u read carefully when i said i had no money and cant get my own domain name!? no money, im flat broke and theres no way my parentes would pay for it thats for sure and neither would my bf, cuz hes flat broke too.. *word of advice* date women with cash especially if u dont have ur own and act like u feel horrible about it (thats what my bf does lol ). oh and i forgot to ask u another question and this is a serious question. the job u chose was it something u wanted to do or something ur parents made u choose? like in college, did u pursue the major u wanted to take or did ur parents have some sort of direction that they wanted u to go for and u took it? i ask u this bc my parents are pressuring me into going into the medical field and im not all for that and i know for a fact that if i chose what i want to do (teaching) id be casted as the black sheep in the family. ive discussed this with them but of course they wont listen and instead got reeeeally ticked off. i asked other ppl this but they werent much help since theyre parents were dam nice and wouldnt interfere in their decisions and i asked my bf but his mom just lets him choose his own career paths as long as he doesnt become a pimp. well anyway, i hope u can give me some insight, until then i'll ask a bunch of other strangers i meet in the street lol. by the way "no beer make homer go crazy". u should keep that in mind lol.

hey mark, ive been meaning to ask u something but i keep forgetting. umm.. lets see, oh yeah if vegetarians say they dont eat living things then why do they eat vegetables? because vegetables are living organisms right? they breathe and eat and stuff and also they had this show thing on the discovery channel or history channel. one of the two, where the tested to see if plants created any emotions when they have a part of them cut off or something and it showed that the plant would let out a high pitch scream. so does that mean that vegetarians cant eat vegetables because what they're eating is also alive?? by the way, ur friend has much guts to fly a plane and take pictures and with stand such high heights.

Hey Mark, well, whaddaya know? Your site has a more horizontal feel to it. I like it :) Eh, I've been ranting unfairly about Sid and Nancy. It does take me a while to grow to like things. Did you see Hero yet? I liked it a lot, had lots of stars present (including the sweaty loins inducing phenom, Zhang Ziyi). I recommend if you aren't in the mood to think very hard and just in the mood for some wu xia swordplay and classic romance with a zing of Shakespearean tragedy.

I saw Sid and Nancy and I hate to say this, but I completely hated it. I did not watch it to the end b/c I couldn't take it.... I can't believe these people are the poster children of punk rock. I think they are brainless idiots and if their actions and personalities define what it means to be punk, then I would hate to be labeled as one. The "punk lifestyle" that they portrayed in the movie was something that I expected, I have to admit. I guess my major qualm would be how annoying Nancy was and if I was Sid, I'd have popped a cap in her ass long ago. I did think the way he carved her name on his chest was pretty damn cool. Anyway, if I sound incoherent, it's probably b/c I am. Just babbling as always.....

there, happy? haha :) anyway, when i first read rape of nanking, i was wary that the author would be biased because she's third gen Chinese (i think). well, i'd like to hear from the japanese perspective as well so i'll look out for that book. i did go to a site that pointed out "inaccuracies" within the novel, but the majority was elementary mistakes. ::::I haven't been watching much foreign/indie films, I've been on a sci-fi high! I saw X2 today and bought advance tix to see Matrix: Reloaded. If you watch Asian films, you might like Zhang Yimou's work like Raise the Red Lantern. I like movies that are controversial in Japan. Another one is Xiu Xiu, but that's not a Yimou flick.

Hey Mark, you might know me as Uglypnay411 on AA (maybe, haha). I love your site! You're so good at this. I'm trying to get my own domain name, but I'm torn when it comes to hosting services. I'm between cyberpixels and ipowerweb right now. Anyway, I like the Clockwork Orange movie better than the book. We could've done w/out the last chapter. I also like the original Metropolis (Fritz Lang?). The anime didn't really do much for me. Couldn't hold my interest at all. I do recommend seeing Catch Me If You Can and maybe Adaptation if you liked Being John Malkovich. Later ^^

yeah I've heard of the bad news about DEE DEE Ramone. Wasn't it a drug overdose? Man all these singers dying of overdoses of mixture of drugs.
